Who is Dally's girlfriend in the outsiders?
Sylvia is Dally's ex-girlfriend who cheated on him while he was in prison at the beginning of the novel. This was found out when Johnny pointed out that Dally had his ring back.
She volunteered to let the Greasers know what the Socs were doing so that they would not be caught off guard. Dally goes on to tell them that Cherry will testify that Bob was drunk and that he was out looking for Pony and Johnny. She also says that she will testify that Johnny acted in self-defense when he killed Bob.
Dallas Winston
Dallas, known as “Dally,” is a hardened teen who used to run with gangs in New York. He has an elfin face and icy blue eyes and, unlike his friends, does not put grease in his white-blond hair.
Dally grabs Ponyboy and says that they have to quickly go to the hospital because Johnny is dying. Ponyboy isn't feeling very well himself. He is still sick and has been cut and bruised.
Dallas Winston knew he had a younger sister up in New York with his parents, but when his parents die, and Sophie Winston has to come and live with him, his world turns upside down. Dally always loved his kid sister, but he hasn't seen her in quite a while.
Cherry and Ponyboy meet at the drive-in and become friends. Cherry is attracted to Dally, and becomes a spy for the greasers. Marcia Cherry's girlfriend at the drive-in. She gives Two-Bit her phone number, but he throws it away.
The policemen kill Dally. After Johnny dies in the hospital, Dally is so upset, he runs away from Ponyboy and robs a grocery store. The police chase him to the empty lot where the greasers hang out. There, Dally takes out his unloaded gun and threatens the police, who shoot him in self-defense.
Dally robs a grocery store, waves a (probably) unloaded gun at armed police officer, and goes down in blaze of gunfire. Dallas was smart, and he knew full well what would happen if he showed the cops his gun: they would shoot him and he would die. Pony's analysis seems right on. But why did Dally want to die?
Dally's one arm is severely burned, but he will eventually regain full use of it. Johnny is in critical condition; his back is broken and he is suffering with third-degree burns. If he lives, he will not be able to walk for the rest of his life.
she is attracted to Dally because despite his "dirty talk," angry disposition, and complete disregard for the law, these are the things to which Cherry is attracted.
Who gets pregnant in The Outsiders?
When Pony learns that Sandy's pregnant—not with Soda's kid—and that Sandy's parents refused to let her marry Soda, he realizes Soda has problems too. Since we only end up hearing this information from Darrel, some readers wonder if Sandy's really pregnant, who the father is, and why she was sent out of town.
Johnny idolizes gang member Dallas Winston. Dally is living proof that one can survive without parents or family. Johnny needs to follow in the footsteps of someone in his life and Dally, his hero, is the one he chooses. The relationship between these two boys is very interdependent.

Sodapop is dating, and in love with Sandy near the beginning of the book, a pretty girl with china blue eyes and blonde hair.
